Game principle
Every player chooses out of a variety of drivers and vehicles. The characters are classified in 3 categories: light, medium and heavy. Each weight-class has access to different carts and bikes. The vehicles differ in their attributes, such as acceleration, handling, top speed, drifting etc. In Grand Prix-mode one or more players compete in a tournament against drivers controlled by the game. In the Time Trials it’s one player against the clock who tries to set up a new best time. In the VS Race multiple players compete in a single race against each other. The Battle-mode represents a classic survival mode.
The Rainbow Boulevard
Widely regarded as the toughest course by many players is the Rainbow Boulevard. In the embedded video a race on this course is shown.
